Les travaux de revêtement du pont Faidherbe de Saint-Louis prennent fin lundi, a appris l’APS de source officielle.
Une circulation alternée est instaurée sur le pont depuis le début des travaux entrepris dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre du Programme de construction de ponts et d’autoponts.
La préfecture de Saint-Louis a dans la foulée annoncé la fermeture à la circulation automobile à partir du 15 juin du pont Moustapha Malick Gaye en raison de travaux de réhabilitation de l’infrastructure reliant l’île de Saint-Louis à la Langue de Barbarie.
“Cette décision relève du souci des autorités d’assurer le maintien du trafic pendant la durée des travaux et d’atténuer la gêne occasionnée aux usagers, un plan de circulation disposant de toute la signalisation horizontale et verticale requise sera mis en place”, indique notamment la préfecture dans un communiqué.
Ces travaux entrent dans le cadre du Programme de construction de ponts et d’autoponts piloté par le ministère des Infrastructures, des Transports terrestres et du Désenclavement à travers l’AGEROUTE.
