L’Etat du Sénégal vient d’instituer un prélèvement de 3% sur la valeur de certaines marchandises. Les ressources qui en seront tirées, seront destinées à la modernisation de l’administration douanière, dit-on.
Le chef de l’Etat avait signé le décret instituant ledit prélèvement depuis le 8 juillet dernier. Hier lundi 23 juillet, Abdourahmane Dièye, le Directeur général de la Douane, a officiellement signifié son institution à ses équipes.
«Ce prélèvement s’applique aux marchandises d’origine tierce à l’Uemoa et à la Cedeao, déclarées pour la mise à la consommation sous le régime du droit commun. Le taux de ce prélèvement est de 3%. Son assiette est constituée par la valeur en douane des marchandises mises à la consommation», informe le Directeur général de la Douane, dans une note de service.
À préciser, qu’entre autres, les marchandises provenant de la zone Cedeao, de l’Uemoa, les produits gaziers, le riz, le blé, la farine de blé les médicaments et marchandises relevant du chapitre 30 du système harmonisé, sont exclus du champ d’application de ce prélèvement.
