Pensions de retraite : Macky Sall annonce une augmentation de 10% d’ici fin décembre 2021

L’annonce est faite par le chef de l’Etat, Macky Sall. En effet, s’exprimant vendredi à l’occasion de la cérémonie de clôture de la troisième Conférence sur la protection sociale au Centre international de conférence Abdou Diouf de Diamniadio (Cicad), le président de la République a demandé aux administrateurs de l’Institution de prévoyance retraite du Sénégal (IPRES) d’étudier la faisabilité, d’ici au 31 décembre, d’une augmentation de 10 % des pensions de retraite.

« Les retraités, vous avez demandé une augmentation, ce que je peux comprendre, ce que j’ai compris. Je voudrais demander au président du conseil d’administration de l’IPRES, au directeur général et à l’ensemble des administrateurs d’étudier la faisabilité, d’ici au 31 décembre, d’une augmentation de 10 % sur les pensions de retraite », a déclaré Macky Sall.

A l’en croire, cette augmentation va coûter 10 milliards de francs CFA à l’IPRES. « Cela suppose deux choses. Il faut sérieusement envisager la cotisation pour ceux qui travaillent encore. On ne peut pas vouloir avoir une retraite décente tant qu’on ne cotise pas de façon décente », a ajouté le chef de l’Etat, selon qui, les pensions de retraite à l’IPRES ont augmenté de 40 % de 2012 à aujourd’hui.
