Nigeria : Un budget supplémentaire de 2,3 milliards de dollars

Approuvé par le président Muhammadu Buhari, ce budget doit permettre de répondre aux besoins urgents du pays en matière de sécurité et de lutte contre le Covid-19.

Le porte-parole de la Présidence, Garba Shehu, a déclaré dans un communiqué lundi à Abuja que le président Buhari, qui a signé le budget supplémentaire avant d’embarquer pour son voyage au Royaume-Uni, a félicité l’Assemblée nationale pour l’adoption rapide du projet de loi pour le budget supplémentaire.

Garba Shehu a expliqué que 123,3 millions de nairas du budget seront consacrés aux dépenses récurrentes (non liées à la dette), tandis que 859,3 milliards de nairas sont destinés au Fonds de développement pour les dépenses en capital.

Selon la déclaration, le gouvernement fédéral nigérian veillera à la réalisation en temps voulu des projets d’investissement afin d’atteindre les objectifs louables du budget.
