Le chef de l’Etat, Macky Sall, a annoncé mercredi qu’il procèdera samedi à la pose de la première pierre du nouvel hôpital de niveau 3 de Tivaouane, une cité religieuse de la région de Thiès (ouest).
Macky Sall a informé les membres du gouvernement “qu’il procèdera, le Samedi 25 juin 2022, à la pose de la première pierre du nouvel hôpital de niveau 3 de Tivaouane en marge de la visite qu’il effectuera, à Tivaouane, à l’occasion du centenaire de la disparition de Seydi EL Hadji Malick SY”, rapporte le communiqué du Conseil des ministres.
Macky Sall avait promis de doter Tivaouane d’un hôpital de niveau 3, après l’incendie qui a coûté la vie à 11 nouveau-nés à l’hôpital Mame-Abdoul-Aziz-Sy de la même ville, il y a de cela plus de trois semaines.
Ce futur hôpital sera mieux équipé que celui dont dispose la ville actuellement, a assuré la nouvelle ministre de la Santé et de l’Action sociale, mardi, au cours d’une visite à Tivaouane.
Marie Khémesse Ngom Ndiaye effectuait sa première visite à l’hôpital Mame Abdoul Aziz Dabakh, depuis qu’elle a été nommée ministre de la Santé et de l’Action sociale, le 26 mai dernier, en remplacement d’Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr.
Ce dernier avait été limogé après ce drame.
