Les exportations de biens du Sénégal au terme de l’année 2019 se sont établies à 1985,1 milliards FCFA (environ 3,375 milliards de dollars) selon les données de la Direction de la prévision et des études économiques (DPEE).
Par rapport à l’année 2018 où elles s’élevaient à 1666 milliards FCFA, ces exportations se sont consolidées de 315,1 milliards FCFA (1 FCFA équivaut à 0,0017 dollar).
Selon la DPEE, cette augmentation est notamment tirées par les produits alimentaires (+150 milliards), l’or brut (+62,4 milliards), l’acide phosphorique (+38,5 milliards), les produits pétroliers (+16,4 milliards), le titane (+12,2 milliards), le zircon (+3,9 milliards) et les engrais minéraux et chimiques (+3,9 milliards).
« La hausse des exportations de produits alimentaires est, essentiellement, liée aux produits arachidiers (+89,5 milliards) et halieutiques (+56,6 milliards) », avance la DPEE. A l’inverse, les exportations annuelles de ciment ont diminué de 10,2 % (-8,8 milliards).
