Algérie : Reprise de la production de GNL à Skikda

L’usine de production de gaz naturel liquéfié de Skikda faisait face à des problèmes de fonctionnement, mais les exportations algériennes du combustible n’ont pas été trop affectées, car Sonatrach a fait appel à son usine d’Arzew pour honorer ses commandes.

Jeudi 5 août, la société publique algérienne des hydrocarbures (Sonatrach) a annoncé qu’elle a rétabli l’exploitation normale de son usine de liquéfaction de Skikda le 30 juillet, après une interruption de 45 jours. L’usine avait été fermée le 11 juin dernier pour favoriser la réparation d’une turbine à gaz dont le mécanisme de contrôle s’est avéré défaillant.

Sonatrach a assuré qu’il n’y a pas eu d’autres dommages en raison du déploiement de dispositifs de sécurité automatiques.

Il faut savoir que pendant cette période, les livraisons de GNL aux clients de la Sonatrach n’ont pas été affectées, car les trois trains GL3Z, GL1Z et GL2Z de sa grande usine d’Arzew ont fonctionné à pleine puissance. « Nos engagements commerciaux ont été entièrement respectés », a-t-elle rassuré.
