Le détournement de deniers publics est devenu un effet de mode ces derniers temps où des révélations sur des scandales financiers ont été révélés dans beaucoup de structures nationales. En effet entre le Trésor, la Poste, Poste Finances, l’IPRES, la LONASE et la Sicap, 12,2 milliards FCFA ont été détournés.
Pour rappel, 4,6 milliards FCFA ont été détournés au Trésor, 1,7 milliards FCFA volé à Poste Finances et 1,4 milliard FCFA à la LONASE. Par ailleurs, à en croire Libération, 4,2 milliards FCFA ont été détournés à la Sicap suite à un achat de terrain.
À la Grande Poste de Dakar, l’ancien receveur, Amady Dia avait volé 100 millions FCFA avant de disparaître dans la nature. Depuis lors, il est toujours introuvable. Au niveau de l’Ipres, ce sont 207 millions de Fcfa qui ont été dérobés en 10 mois dans l’affaire dite des tickets-restaurants.
