Le projet entrepreneuriat agricole rural (PEAR) a été lancé ce mardi à Sédhiou (Sud) au profit de 35 villages de la région, à l’initiative de l’ONG Catholique Relief Service, a constaté l’APS.
Le PEAR va impacter 35 villages dans le cadre de la promotion de l’entreprenariat des jeunes et des femmes dans la zone du Pakao.
Ce projet entend améliorer l’accès aux intrants agricoles de qualité pour booster considérablement la production agricole.
Le PEAR vise en outre, à orienter les jeunes entrepreneurs dans le secteur de l’agriculture, en vue de développer leurs activités économiques et sociales, et réduire le chômage des jeunes et des femmes.
“Nous comptons nous positionner d’une manière très forte dans l’entreprenariat des jeunes et des femmes ruraux pour fixer les jeunes dans leur terroir’’, a promis Sémou Guèye, le chef du projeten marge d’un atelier consacré à son lancement.
