Bourses : L’ONG Arpieca a distribué des bourses à 1 086 orphelins

L’ONG Arpieca a distribué, hier, des bourses à 1 086 orphelins pour une enveloppe totale estimée à 218 millions F CFA, soit une somme de 195 000 F CFA par orphelin. Il s’agit d’une initiative commune entre l’ONG et la Zakat House du Koweït.

Selon Daouda Chérif Aidara, le président de cette ONG, cette aide consiste à appuyer les orphelins pour leur permettre de poursuivre leurs études dans de bonnes écoles. ‘’C’est des bourses qu’ils reçoivent pendant plusieurs années et deux fois par an. Il concerne des enfants mineurs qui sont un peu partout dans le pays, sans distinction de race, ni d’ethnie. Chaque région va recevoir son chèque. Nous avons démarré par Dakar. C’est notre modeste contribution pour les pousser à une réussite scolaire’’, a précisé M. Aidara.
